Product Information. Featuring graphic portrayals of the controversial actions and overall brutality of the Vietnam War, Shellshock: Nam '67 looks to provide an uncensored depiction of the conflict as seen through the eyes of a rookie soldier.Players must fight their way through a variety of missions, ranging from expansive battlefield encounters with the North Vietnamese Army to stealth-based missions to assassinate VC generals.
Authentic weapons from either the U.S., Viet Cong, or North Vietnamese armies are available to use, as players battle in locations ranging from the wetlands of the South to the mountain borders of the North, as well as dense jungles and rural Vietnamese villages. Character development is interwoven, and as each mission is completed players will advance in rank, from a 'grunt' to a special forces soldier, taking with them all of the skills learned from previous missions.Realistic injuries were a consideration while Shellshock: Nam '67 was in development.
Fellow Soldier's don't simply live or die; rather, depending on the injury, they may lie on the ground suffering, or struggle on wounded while attempting to take down the enemy. If players find themselves being overrun by the opposition during a mission, they can call in choppers to provide cover fire, or have the entire area leveled by a destructive napalm artillery attack. Geat Story Like you are in Nam.Are you a War buff? Like Vietnam War games? You will not be dissapointed with this story based game.Lots of Patrol action through the jungle and swamps. Realistic language especially at the 'cherry' of the bunch.
Disarm Claymore mines and Bouncing Betties. 'Ambush' you hear this alot. Its all good fun killing communists.

This game does not support 480p High def connection though only S-Video or jacks. If you like war games get it its cheap as crap and entertaining as any other shooter. Its an OK game. This game has great graphics and great game play. I just didnt think it had enough free roaming with the enviroment. Your route is forced in what I think is a very tight playing field. Over all action is eye popping, with a good weapon selection. But I can only give this one a 3 out of 5.
Its a good game when you can get a good deal. Dont pay alot for this one, you may feel let down. This is no Tom Clancy game. You have no real controll over your team. You can pick weapons and ammo up as you move along, but it still lacks alot.
This game does not show the power of an x-box. Die hard gamers will be let down with this title.
A game seemingly made in 10 minutes for about $10 bucks. Not crazy on any game whose idea to increase difficulty consists of simply adding more enemies. Insofar as I can tell, the thought goes something like this: 'well, they managed to beat 500 identical enemies in level 1, so for level 2 lets make it 1000.' .All I am saying is it's a bit lazy to resort to that vs. Making a more challenging environment, etc.Spoiler alert. The last boss consists of being in a room with about 100 enemies and one main boss you need to kill while running around madly.
This making a rather poor reward for just having slogged through 5 hours of monotony.
